Important Note

Working day on Saturday

Saturday, September 10, 2016 has been designated by the Government as a working day. Any deadline on September 10, 2016 will NOT be extendable unless otherwise provided by law.

Office Closed for the National Holidays.

September 15 & 16, 2016 for the Moon Festival
Any deadline that falls during the period and the subsequent weekend will be automatically extended to the next working day, September 19, 2016

October 10, 2016 for the National Day
Any deadline that falls during the weekend October 8 through Monday October 10, 2016 will be automatically extended to the next working day, October 11, 2016.

No personnel will be in the office on the holidays. Under the local provisions, the deadline for a patent or trademark prosecution matter, e.g., an international priority claim, a response to an Office Action or a petition for renewal that falls on the holidays will be automatically extended to the next working day. We will handle such matters the next working day on an urgent basis. If you should have any project requiring special attention around then, please try to accelerate its dispatch to us in advance. We will keep you apprised of any development of the official holidays in Taiwan. Thank you.
