Since the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) will also be closed due to the typhoon, any specified deadline on July 10, 2018 could be postponed to July 11, 2018.

Further, according to the weather report, it is possible that this typhoon will affect Taiwan from Tuesday through Wednesday, July 10-11, 2018 (Taiwan time). If the TIPO remains closed due to the typhoon, any specified deadline will be automatically extended to the next working day, i.e., July 12, 2018. However, since the weather cannot be predicted with complete accuracy and in the event that the typhoon veers away from Taiwan, normal office hours will apply.
