In the amendments announced by President Tsai Ing-wen on May 01, 2019, Sections 2 to 4 of Article 157 of the Patent Law were newly added and to Articles 29, 34, 46, 57, 71, 73, 74, 77, 107, 118 to 120, 135 and 143 of the Patent Law were amended. The date of implementation of the amendments will be set by the Executive Yuan.
