自2022年5月10日起，日本專利局暫停與歐亞專利局 (Eurasian Patent Office, EAPO) 和俄羅斯專利局之間的PPH計劃。自2022年5月10日起，不再允許以EAPO審查結果作為在先審查專利局 (Office of Earlier Examination, OEE) 向日本專利局請求PP，也不再允許以俄羅斯專利局審查結果作為OEE向日本專利局請求PPH。

此外，在2022年5月10日前日本專利局受理依上述兩局審查結果提出PPH請求而待審之案件，將回歸到一般案件進行審查。
