Furthermore, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and TIPO started the PPH MOTTAINAI program on May 1, 2014. This 3-year program expired on Apr 30, 2017, and a 3-year extension program has been immediately put into practice in order to continue providing PPH service for applicants from both countries. 

The current PPH MOTTAINAI pilot program ended on Apr 30 of this year. Both sides have agreed to extend the program for three additional years starting May 1, 2017 in order to continue providing this convenient and efficient PPH service to respective applicants.
